The faults we attend most often are: system pressure loss (often a slow leak or failed expansion vessel), fault codes with lockout (F1 on Worcester Bosch, EA on Baxi, 117 on Ideal), no hot water but heating works (diverter valve failure), ignition failure, and pump faults. We carry parts for all of these on the van.

Most boiler repairs are completed within 1–3 hours on the first visit. Simple faults — ignition electrodes, thermistors, pressure sensors — take 45–90 minutes. More complex parts like heat exchangers or PCBs take 2–3 hours. New boiler installations typically take 4–6 hours.

Note the code and check your boiler manual. Try a single reset by holding the reset button for 3 seconds. If the boiler relocks within a few hours, call us — repeated resets without finding the cause can mask a worsening fault and cause further damage.
